Our Thrift Store is Permanently Closed
.
For over 100 years, The Salvation Army’s thrift stores have been a local response to the need for jobs and affordable merchandise, coupled with a desire to preserve the land from unnecessary waste. Sadly, due to several mitigating factors related to COVID-19, the decision was made to permanently close the store located at 533 Tranquille Road.
.
“The decision to close the store did not come easily, and we are deeply saddened. We know this will have an impact on the community, including those closest to us, but it was a necessary business decision to ensure that we can continue to serve the community through our social service programs.”
.
Moving forward, we will focus our efforts on service provided through our Community Ministries office and Church.
.
“I would like to thank the community for years of dedicated patronage and support. We can only do the work we do, because of their ongoing support. And while this is a sad occasion, we can look to the future with optimism because we are going to continue to operate and serve this great community.”
