This summer, wildfires have created havoc and damage around the world, including here in Canada. Salvation Army emergency disaster teams have been busy assisting people on the frontlines.

As the blaze worsens in BC, first responders are working tirelessly while many are faced with the prospect being displaced and losing their homes. We are on alert to provide aid to the first responders and those impacted by this emergency.

Disaster can strike at any time; without warning and without notice. We remain ready to provide immediate assistance, psychological support and spiritual counsel to individuals and families whose lives have been disrupted or shattered by forces beyond their control.

You can help people affected by the BC wildfires by donating.
