Job Description
The Christmas Kettle Scheduler plays a key role in the success of this annual fundraiser through the scheduling of volunteers.

Key Responsibilities
- May assist in the recruitment of Kettle Workers (employees and volunteers)
- Coordinates the schedule for kettle staff, and responds to emergency absences, etc.
- Fosters and maintains positive working relationships with kettle sites, addressing conflicts/issues as they arise
- May Deliver and pick-up kettles to/from sites daily, ensuring the security of donations
- May Host at the kettle, as required, to ensure necessary coverage for breaks, etc.
- Record statistical data as required, for local/divisional/territorial offices
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- No education or certification requirements needed
- The successful candidate must have at least one-year prior lated experience, including life skills, computer competency and leadership skills
- The successful candidate must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office programs.
- Possess a valid Class 5 or higher BC Driver’s License
- A current driver’s abstract will be required
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- No prior experience required
- Multi-tasking
- Strong organizational skills
- Team orientated and able to follow directions
Prior to hiring, successful candidates may be required to provide:
- Background check consent
- A clear vulnerable sector screening
- Completion of our online Armatus Abuse Training and required Health and Safety Training

Work Environment
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Performance of the job requires a frequent amount of loading/unloading the vehicle
